Happy Birthday to me
I’m getting older.. and so is this blog.
I’m 25!
Looking at this past year
What do I want to be acknowledged for?
- I left my boring but pays the bills job to change direction toward a career I’m truly passionate about.
What did I accomplish?
- I started a new job at a local gym in an industry I’ve never worked before.
- I paid off my overdraft.
- I broke unhealthy habits and created new healthier ones.
- I got knocked up. Haha. This is by far the most important thing that has ever happened to me in my life
What did I want to accomplish that I did not accomplish? (Do I still want to do this?)
- I wanted to play a roller derby game but my last accomplishment (knocked up) changed these plans… do I still want to do this? Yes, after I’ve had my baby.
What did I say I would do that I didn’t do? (Do I still want to do this?)
- I said I would learn to cook/bake/become a domestic goddess. I don’t really want to do this my boyfriend is amazing in the kitchen and I am useless and I hate it – I’ll just accept the fact.
- I wanted to learn to sew. Studying fitness takes up enough time maybe once I’ve finished learning that.
- I wanted to take better care of my skin and learn how to do my own hair and make-up better then a 5 year old.
- I wanted to finish some of my tattoos but that never happened either.
Who do I need to be in communication with?
- All my close friends even though we don’t live so close anymore.
What were my biggest disappointments?
- Financial disappointments.
- I haven’t been as creative as I’d have liked…
What did I learn? – One lessons which will make the most difference if you remember it this year?
- Don’t eat gluten it does not agree with my body. I’d actually known this years before but for some reason continued to eat the poison, until it got too much. Now I feel so much healthier and actually feel normal. It seems so silly I didn’t follow the Drs advice years ago. Like I know better?!
Looking ahead
Being a good Mother is my next adventure

Happy Birthday! I think you will be a fantastic mother
I’m working towards paying off my overdraft too – now that I’m no longer a student and I have goals I want to achieve I need to get my financial house in order.
Happy Birthday! Haha I have also learned to accept the fact that I will never be a domestic goddess..
I am so happy that you did this: I left my boring but pays the bills job to change direction toward a career I’m truly passionate about. I remember you writing about how unhappy you were in your last job… Happy birthday! x & you will be an amazing mummy.
Coming a little ate but Happy Birthday lady! Sounds like you’ve achieved a whole lot this year. I’m turning 28 soon and feel like my life is only just starting to come together THIS WEEK!
Anyway I hope the next year gets even better for you.

I mean late not ate
Happy Birthday! Wow being pregnant sounds exciting and you certainly have an awesome year ahead of you! I’m having a small freak out over turning 20 this year (October), but I’m also looking forward to it.
You have acomplished a lot, whether you see it or not! I often feel like I’ve done nothing. I’m embarrassed when I see all the stuff people I went to school with have done- and I’m still broke, with a retail job and no closer to my dreams. Mostly due to a lack of money. But I LOVE my job. It’s tough.
Hasn’t it been the craziest year!?!?!?
Fark! I feel like we have come so far in the past 12 months!
very proud of us! Holy crap I can’t believe that bean is now a sub! Can’t wait to find out whether it’s a he or a she! Can’t wait to see you! craziness!!!
