Foreword (9/27/09): I understand that the concept of having Windows 7 before release date and activating it for personal use is illegal.  I also understand that there are lots of sites out there with similar tutorials teaching the masses how to do the same type of task.  It is unfortunate that it has come down to this, but in short Windows 7 is a great OS, and if you have the due diligence to give Microsoft some hard earned respect, it is by purchasing this OS.  We are only the messenger, not the creator of any of these activation programs.  If you are looking for someone to take down and nail, then I suggest you browse http://win7vista.com and find your answers there.  Good luck, and have fun on your PC journey. ~ Versatile

In this Tutorial I’ll be showing you how to get Windows 7 Ultimate for free and better yet giving you the ISO of Windows 7 Fully activated.   Now read ahead and learn how to get the best OS since XP for free, and be the first kid on the block to have a fully legit copy of windows 7 !!  Read ahead and learn how… ~Hail2King

Also if anyone would like an invite to a great site called Lockerz please click this link and fill answer the simple question and I’ll send you an invite immediately Thank you very much and get in this great prize community while it’s still in Beta to recieve all kinds of great gifts (LINK TO LOCKERZ INVITE CLICK HERE NOW)

What do I need to get this amazing OS?

Once you have all 5 parts just double click on the first part to unrar all the files

  • Be sure to select either 32bit(x86) or 64bit(x64) during the install

Getting Started

Now that you have your windows 7 ISO your gonna need to burn that iso file to a disc.  Make sure you burn the ISO at a low speed like 4x to ensure quality also run a verify check on the disc afterwards

Use any burning program that supports iso files.  I suggest using ImgBurn or Deepburner because they are freeware, but you could use any  iso burning program that you prefer.

Get ImgBurn here (IMGBurn) Get Deepburner here (deepburner)

Installing Windows 7 Ultimate

Now that you have your windows 7 iso  burned to a disc, just insert and run the autorun.exe and begin your install.  You will be asked on whether or not you want to do a clean install (erases all data on your computer) so make a backup if you go this route.  Next option is an upgrade from vista (with this you will keep all of your old files but the install will take alot longer) Note: typicall install time is 1 to 2 hours, also always backup before installing a new OS. Read the notes below to get this fully activated OEM to work.

NOTES: For a clean install you need to boot the disc on startup.  For an upgrade you can run it from windows(you can only upgrade from vista or a previous windows7 release) not from XP.

Very Important info during the install…

write this down otherwise it won’t work and you’ll have to reinstall

Whether doing an upgrade or a clean install make sure that you uncheck the box to automatically activate windows online. Then when prompted select Ask me later.

Pics of this are below sorry for the image quality it came from the faxcool’s images for install.

  • Make sure to Uncheck the “automatically activate windows box” and to select Ask me later when prompted.

  • Also a good rule of thumb is to install with your internet disconnected to avoid making a mistake.

  • The copy is already activated by simply doing these 2 steps during the install. It’s that simple.

Proof of activation can be checked by typing activate windows in the search and you should get the first pic below

Or you can check your windows experience and get a picture like the one off my laptop. 2nd Pic down.

Is that it? I can’t believe how easy that was…

Yes that’s all there is too it. Now go out there and enjoy your brand spankin’ new windows 7 os fully activated.   Hope this tutorial was helpful and please spread the knowledge and support the underground by spreading the word of our great guides and tutorials.  We have some very exciting tutorials coming up on the horizon.  Enjoy and comment if you think I’ve missed out on something or how I could make this tutorial any better.   I’m always welcome to criticism good or bad since I’m a new author.  Enjoy and Thank You!!!

Great tutorial. I pre-ordered Windows 7, but it doesn’t hurt to run a leaked copy ahead of time to test cracking methods, right?

  2. Comment by mojo — August 17, 2009 @ 2:22 am

Great tutorial. Thank you. Do you know: 1)where i can find a x86/32bit version? and 2) if a 32 bit version will work with what you posted about the how to install the windows7 with full activation?

  3. Comment by hail2king — August 17, 2009 @ 8:54 am

thanks Mojo, yes there is a copy of the x86/32bit version out there just search for it using a bittorrent client and make sure it’s a genuine full rip. And to answer your second question, the answer is yes the 7loader program will activate a x86/32bit version of windows 7
In fact since you’ve brought it to my attention I’m gonna update this post with the links for the x86/32bit version of windows 7 now. Thank you for viewing.

Mojo, I know we do not bring enough underground content. Has this article met your standards/desires?

  5. Comment by xephyr — August 18, 2009 @ 8:24 pm

i did the crack and then it said it was activated but then i remembered about the dell thing so i did it now it says it’s not activated

    help?

  6. Comment by hail2king — August 18, 2009 @ 11:41 pm

well I don’t know why you would mess with it after it’s done. I suggest just running the 7loader again but this time don’t select any manufacturer just hit install. If that doesn’t work you might need to reinstall and do exactly what you did before. Then leave it alone.

  7. Comment by bakemono — August 19, 2009 @ 7:11 am

    Same experience with xephyr.
Did you put the 32Bit product key during installation?
    Please help.

  8. Comment by Versatile — August 19, 2009 @ 6:13 pm

You guys are breaking my heart. You can do what I did and just be done with it.

Open 7loader. Click Dell. Install 7loader. Restart. Done.

  9. Comment by Molez™ — August 20, 2009 @ 4:16 pm

Would this Shutdown Every 2 Hours? or is this really the Full Full Version?

  10. Comment by hail2king — August 20, 2009 @ 6:12 pm

@Molez™, This is the real deal. Been using my copy for 2 months now without a shutdown and I recieve the usual windows updates.

  11. Comment by hail2king — August 20, 2009 @ 6:12 pm

@bakemono, Ok I’ll make this a little more clear, You only need to select the dell manufacturer if your computer runs on slic bios. If it doesn’t then you just run the 7loader program by itself without selecting a manufacturer then leave it alone. wait for a reboot button. Reboot and then your done. Once it says it’s activated. just walk away, and delete 7loader. Don’t try and make this more complicated then it has to be.

  12. Comment by Molez™ — August 21, 2009 @ 5:13 am

Thnx Hail2king,Downloading now and this is Windows 7 Ultimate right (from picture im assuming)?

  13. Comment by bakemono — August 21, 2009 @ 6:59 am

    one more question.
before the installation complete there is a window asking that you need to input the PRODUCT KEY, you still have to input the product key or leave it alone?
    Thank You..

  14. Comment by Versatile — August 21, 2009 @ 6:18 pm

You can skip it. That is what I did.

  15. Comment by Molez™ — August 22, 2009 @ 6:28 am

Isnt there another link for the ISO that isn’t a torrent??

  16. Comment by Versatile — August 22, 2009 @ 9:16 am

I’m sure there is, but I don’t know of them.

  17. Comment by 0R10R — August 22, 2009 @ 3:09 pm

hey man, which is better, the 64 bit or the 32 bit os?

  18. Comment by Versatile — August 22, 2009 @ 3:35 pm

If you are going to get more than 3 GB of RAM, get 64bit.

  19. Comment by hail2king — August 23, 2009 @ 11:56 am

@Molez™, Yeah that’s a pic of the Ultimate, but you get to select which version you want when you install. I prefer the ultimate since it has everything.

  20. Comment by Molez™ — August 23, 2009 @ 1:09 pm

i cant find any links of the 7600 RTM that isnt a Torrent!!

Running a fresh install of RTM Ultimate on an old Compaq laptop. Using it to test your 7loader. Using 7Loader v1.2. I tried both your options without and with selecting a manufacturer and I still get 30 days left to activate.
    Any suggestions??

  25. Comment by hail2king — August 24, 2009 @ 9:58 am

@smoaky, I would suggest try running the 7loader program with a different manufacturer until you get it activated. I know Dell worked for versatile but I don’t know if it’ll work for you. I would just try messing around with it until you get it activated.

  26. Comment by smoaky — August 24, 2009 @ 10:10 am

Thanks for your reply. I will try that right now
Note: After running “activate windows” I get “the product key you entered is invalid”
Are you using the blacklisted OEM product key that was leaked back in July??
    Cheers

  27. Comment by hail2king — August 24, 2009 @ 10:39 am

@smoaky, I just did some research regarding your problem and if v1.2 of the 7loader is giving you problems I suggest trying the new v1.5 I’ve put up on this post. Try that and let me know if it worked for you. And as far as the Oem I , just used the 7loader program about a month ago, so if it was blacklisted I don’t know. So I put the latest 7loader release on the post. I need people too reply back and let me know if the original 7loader isn’t working anymore since I can’t test it out myself.

  28. Comment by smoaky — August 24, 2009 @ 11:30 am

I will give v1.5 a try but I have tried every version you have released so-far with no luck. I am thinking it is my laptop.
    Only have an Intel P-3 1.2 GHz,and 640 RAM
Really do not want to try ANY 7Loader on my other primary or secondary systems until I can find a useable activator. If W7Loader v1.5 doesn’t work I will just go with the Timer Nuke until you can come up with a more compatible version for older mobo’s.

  29. Comment by mojo — August 24, 2009 @ 5:29 pm

    @Versatile, this is excellent.

Can microsoft disable this version of Win7 loaded in the way described with a future windows update? And if so, what are the chances of them doing so?

  31. Comment by Jake — September 4, 2009 @ 8:36 pm

please tell me does this still work bcus i have ordered some disks so that i can install it

  32. Comment by hail2king — September 4, 2009 @ 10:58 pm

@Jake, Yes Jake this does still work, just follow the tutorial and you can have a full windows 7. Make sure you bookmark this page for further updates after the official windows 7 release in case they put a block on this type of OEM hack. But by that time there will be another alternative to keep your copy running forever. No worries it works great and I put my seal of approval on this by making it my only OS I use on my computer.

  33. Comment by hail2king — September 4, 2009 @ 11:02 pm

@mojo, They could try but just like when this happened with vista people who actually bought the copy were up in arms over getting their copy taken from them. The beauty of the 7loader is that it spoofs the OEM into thinking that it’s an activated copy with no way of microsoft telling that it wasn’t activated using a legal key. Trust me it’s almost full proof. plus MS doesn’t want to give their company’s new OS a bad name by saying it has security flaws that can be exploited.

  34. Comment by ike — September 9, 2009 @ 7:28 pm

will this work with a dell inspiron e1405 its the media center one.
it has the volume buttons on the front of the computer. if i install windows 7 will i still be able to adjust the volume with these buttons?

  35. Comment by hail2king — September 10, 2009 @ 12:06 pm

@ike, Yeah I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t. It’s a copy of windows which is a very versatile OS. Install and it will work. Get the 32 bit.

  36. Comment by jake — September 10, 2009 @ 4:45 pm

hey please help i have written the iso to a disk and when i click run it comes up with a pop up saying that the disk is not compatible with my version of windows and that i will need the correct installation disk please not im not an expert on computers so please give me a simple way to fix the problem thank you

  37. Comment by Versatile — September 10, 2009 @ 6:26 pm

You have to boot the PC with this disk inserted and boot off of it.

  38. Comment by Shawn — September 11, 2009 @ 2:39 pm

I see the 32 bit link is lined out. Is it not working or corrupt?
    Thanks,
    S

  39. Comment by Hail2King — September 11, 2009 @ 6:02 pm

@Shawn, No shawn it works fine, the site was having php issues and when I had to edit it in html I must’ve made a mistake but the link works fine . *Fixed the typo, sry for any inconvenience.

  40. Comment by Dolbylloyd — September 11, 2009 @ 6:31 pm

1st link goes to 1.78 gb and stops

  41. Comment by hail2king — September 11, 2009 @ 8:29 pm

@Dolbylloyd, Ok I’m gonna redownload it now and see if it happens for me. Let you know what happens in about 30mins.

  42. Comment by hail2king — September 11, 2009 @ 8:57 pm

Well Dolbylloyd I just finished downloading it fine. I used the downthemall add-on for firefox and downloaded the entire 2.36gig file in under 30mins. I suggest you use the same add-on that I did. if not it should download the entire thing without problems anyhow.

  43. Comment by Dolbylloyd — September 12, 2009 @ 9:34 am

    ok i willl try again

  44. Comment by Molez™ — September 12, 2009 @ 1:55 pm

do i have to have vista latest service pack?
cos i tried it on my cousins laptop and it worked fine and it doesnt work on mine, and one more question, can i just run ssetup or do i have to boot from disk?

  45. Comment by Dolbylloyd — September 12, 2009 @ 2:14 pm

    nop
    link still fails

  46. Comment by Molez™ — September 12, 2009 @ 2:17 pm

@Dolbylloyd, Which Link? cos i just downloaded it right now in about 40 mins (using dta)

  47. Comment by hail2king — September 12, 2009 @ 3:12 pm

@Molez™, you have to boot from the disk. But I believe if you dual boot your partition then you can run directly off the setup, again I’m not sure about this. Just change your boot options to the optical drive and restart your computer with the disk inserted. As far as the service pack is concerned it shouldn’t matter if your doing a clean install, but doing an upgrade I would assume you need vista to be at the latest version, again I’m not certain about that though.

  48. Comment by hail2king — September 12, 2009 @ 3:16 pm

@Dolbylloyd, Well then if for some odd reason it’s freezing up on you I suggest searching the torrent sites for the windows 7 rtm 32-bit and downloading that way. Just be sure to read the comments and make sure it’s a good copy.

  49. Comment by Molez™ — September 13, 2009 @ 5:04 am

i get an error saying The Files are corrupt, any ideas?

  50. Comment by ike — September 13, 2009 @ 8:09 am

do i boot from the disk in my current os or do i put the disk in befor the computer starts up. oh and the 7loader thing after i install it and windows 7 is activated if i uninstall it what wil happen?

  51. Comment by Versatile — September 13, 2009 @ 12:12 pm

Boot from disk to install windows 7.

  52. Comment by Versatile — September 13, 2009 @ 12:13 pm

How large is your ISO? Is it 2.3 GB roughly or 1.78GB?

  53. Comment by Versatile — September 13, 2009 @ 12:13 pm

It removes the crack of course. Boot from disk.

  54. Comment by ike — September 13, 2009 @ 5:39 pm

if it removes the crack it wont be activated anymore yet right? do i put the disk in before th computer starts up or when im in the os

  55. Comment by hail2king — September 13, 2009 @ 9:15 pm

@ike, The 7loader program will crack or activate your windows then you can delete it if you wish. Your copy of windows will still be activated when it’s deleted.

  56. Comment by smoaky — September 14, 2009 @ 12:33 pm

v 1.5 still failed with same results. (Show 30 days till activation) Tried ALL 7Loader versions all the way up to v.5 still…no activation.
    Timer Nuke works fine.
What a shame. Keep working on it guys.
As a side note: this Activator will possibly work with newer hardware but will not work with mine. If you have several hours to find out by trying all the manufacturers then it MIGHT work for you. i would suggest waiting for the GA release of W7 on OCT. 22nd. Afterward there will be a multitude of BIOS cracks available.
Orbitz and Hazar keep up the good work !!!!

Do you have another version in the works??
this one still will not work for me
    Thanks!!

  57. Comment by hail2king — September 14, 2009 @ 5:55 pm

@smoaky, We are not orbitz and hazard, this is just a blog post on how to activate windows 7 ultimate. As far as everyone I know who did this is now running a fully activated windows7 OS.

  58. Comment by Versatile — September 14, 2009 @ 5:59 pm

It is unfortunate this crack does not work for you. You tried this one with the Dell spoof and no luck?

  59. Comment by smoaky — September 15, 2009 @ 7:21 am

    @Versatile,
Thank you for your reply but yes that is correct. I tried the Dell spoof and it didn’t work. Tried every configuration I could think of and still didn’t activate.
Perhaps a newer version will be available soon and I will try that.

  60. Comment by clayman — September 16, 2009 @ 7:27 pm

I have dloaded and burned the x86 file you linked because you said over 3 gigs ram and I have 4. I run the setup file and try to upgrade from my Vista 64-bit, however I get the following issue:

-You can’t upgrade 64-bit Windows to a 32-bit version of Windows. To upgrade, obtain a 64-bit version of the installation disc, or go online to see how to install Windows 7 and keep your files and settings.

I tried booting with this cd, but it tells me to run windows normally and not boot with the cd on a restart. Somethings not right here, i’m quite sure I have the 64-bit version, not the 32-bit as it says. Here is the file name – MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ULTIMATE.7600.16385.RTM.X86.RETAIL.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT. I’m at a loss, any ideas?!

  61. Comment by Versatile — September 16, 2009 @ 10:20 pm

It says X86, which is the Intel architecture. Are we sure you downloaded the 64bit version of windows, the correct ISO?

  62. Comment by clayman — September 16, 2009 @ 10:50 pm

@Versatile, Yes I remember clicking on the link on the right side and going to torrentz.com to download the iso. I’m thinking my best option is to borrow a friends external hard drive to backup all my files and trying to do the custom installation instead. It will be a bitch, but the idea of upgrading from vista to 7 puts a smile on my face. If anyone can help me here though, it would be appreciated.

  63. Comment by Molez™ — September 17, 2009 @ 11:39 am

it is 2.2 GB, so im definately missing 100 MB, i wonder where it went :(

  64. Comment by Molez™ — September 17, 2009 @ 11:42 am

@clayman, i think you need to get the latest service pack (thats what i’ve been told)and then upgrade, maybe try that?

  65. Comment by hail2king — September 17, 2009 @ 5:14 pm

@clayman, Sorry Clayman it was my mistake I made a typo and confused the 2 builds for the link on the download. Now everything is fixed, the x86 is the 32 bit and the x64 is the 64bit, sorry for the confusion. I put a direct link to an untouched iso for the 64 bit, it’s the best copy I could find. Once again sorry for the mistake and redownload the 64bit torrent from the link.

  66. Comment by ike — September 20, 2009 @ 10:21 am

ok so if i uninstall 7 loader windows 7 will still be activated right?
i dont want any trace of it after im done.

  67. Comment by hail2king — September 20, 2009 @ 1:33 pm

@ike, correct once it is activated the 7loader can be deleted and uninstalled and you’ll be fine.

1 more question. i got the 32 bit downloaded finaly!! can i use daemon tools to install it because i cant even find a cd-r with more than 700 mbs

  70. Comment by clayman — September 22, 2009 @ 9:04 pm

@ike, You need to use a dvd because the file is an iso which is an image file. Pretty sure you can’t complete the installation by mounting it.

  71. Comment by clayman — September 22, 2009 @ 9:08 pm

Thanks that new file you linked works fine, got it working and activated just now. Going to enjoy my new os :) Used 7loader 1.2 btw, so apparently it still works.

ei i hava a problem and i really need your help. my laptop is acer and i just installed the windows 7 64bit. i followed the instruction but my OS is still not activated! i’ve tried the 1.2 and 1.5 version but still won’t work. a little help please.. my laptop is acer 4736z

  76. Comment by hail2king — September 25, 2009 @ 12:06 pm

@jamsphere, I wish I knew how to help you out with this problem, but this activation crack is only about 90% effective. I would suggest exploring other crack options , also try selecting the dell in 7loader to see if that works. I really can’t give you a 100% answer since I only used it on my laptop and haven’t tried on an acer. Try reading the comments on the link for the 64bit dwnld to see if anyone else has a crack that works, is my suggestion.

  77. Comment by hail2king — September 25, 2009 @ 12:10 pm

@clayman, Your welcome clayman. Hope you enjoy using the best OS since XP. I’ve been using windows7 since July and I love it. Comment back and tell us what you think of windows7.

Sir, just one question. i’ve installed the Windows 7 Professional version then install all the updates. after that, i try to use loader but it cant activate my OS. i’ve tried almost all the loaders. is it possible that i should install the loader first to activate my OS before i install all the updates?

  83. Comment by Glen Nimrod — October 1, 2009 @ 1:54 am

I’ve just got the answer to my questions. Though I only tested it in Windows 7 Ultimate but I think it will work to all. Just install the Windows 7. When ask for the Product Key, just click next. after installation, use 7loader. it works just fine and my OS is activated. thanks for all the info!

Is it a false positive? It is the world we live in. A lot of cracks or keygenerators represent virus signatures when in many cases it isn’t.

Oh well, proceed at your own risk.

  86. Comment by Hail2King — October 3, 2009 @ 6:51 pm

@serdar can, yet another paranoid tool, to stupid to realize that any crack or keygen will be detected as a virus by your virus program, but yet it’s not a trojan it is just that your antivrus program sees it that way. Believe me or not, I wouldn’t post a trojan link on a post I spent time making and read the other comments to prove my point that this works. Or continue being a tool and crying wolf.

  87. Comment by Kiotie — October 4, 2009 @ 12:03 am

You must have Windows 7 Ultimate for it to work I’m pretty sure.

  88. Comment by hail2king — October 4, 2009 @ 11:43 am

@Kiotie, Yeah so far it’s been only windows7 ultimate that the 7 loader works on. But I believe versatile got it to work with the home premium version, so again I’m not sure if it’ll work on just the ultimate version.

im having a problem burning the iso onto the dvd. am i supposed to use a dvd-r. i have lots of them with 4.7 gb of memory. when i put one nothing happens except a wierd buzzing noise but the i put a cd-rw in every things is fine. im using a dell inspiraon e1405. does this computer not support dvds or something. i got really frustrated and broke a whole bunch of dvds and cases. i would also appreciate detailed intructions on buring the iso onto the disk using img burn. thank you in advance.

  91. Comment by Hail2King — October 5, 2009 @ 6:18 pm

@ike, what you want to do is make sure that your computer has a dvd burner. If it is only a cd burner than this won’t work. To burn an iso to a disc you need a dvd+R is what I use. Then using imageburn select the first option, Write image file to disc. Then under the source option select the win7 ISO file I believe it’s labeled GR1CULFRER_EN_DVD. After that’s selected click the icon on the bottom left to begin burning to your dvd+R disc. And that should do it. Good luck and enjoy.

I’m trying to download the 32-bit version, but it keeps stopping after a while. Any suggestions to why?

  93. Comment by Hail2King — October 7, 2009 @ 10:23 am

@Jay, Umm I just tested it and it downloaded fine for me. Actually you might think it’s stopping when it gets past 1 gig but it’s still dwnlding just doesn’t look like it cause the percentage takes awhile. Just let it keep going or use downthemall addon for firefox to speed things up.

  94. Comment by Jay — October 7, 2009 @ 1:30 pm

@Hail2King, I did use DownThemAll for FireFox last night, and it downloaded 100% after tried again after I posted. I haven’t installed it yet, though. I’m going to go ahead and do that right now, though.

I am getting an error saying that a file is corrupt or missing 5% into the file expanding part of the installation.

I currently own a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. This system came with two partitions, one for the operating system and the other one for the recovery partition. all are on one hard drive, but just broken up into 2 partitions. When I do the clean install will I be able to just reformat the operating system partition and leave the recovery partition as is or will the clean install remove both the operating system and the recovery partions or what? Someone please answer this for me before I deside to do this install.

    Thanks a lot.

I am currently downloading Windows 7 from your site. Could you please tell me just was build version of Windows 7 this is from your website.

    Thanks a lot.

  99. Comment by Hail2King — October 10, 2009 @ 9:31 pm

@Michael, The build version from this site and what I’m currently on is 7600. And I’m not sure if the 7loader team has a dedicated website. It’s just one of those program hacks floating around, but they probably are members of some type of community or forum group, I would just suggest googling it. I believe the latest version last I checked when I wrote this was version 5. And to answer your first question , a clean install should work great for you.

  102. Comment by Michael — October 11, 2009 @ 6:35 am

I downloaded your 32-bit version of Windows 7. I then rebooted my system with the Windows 7 disk in my machine. I then chose the clean install options. It gets to the part where it is expanding the files, but that is as far as it gets. It says that it needs some OS files. Does this mean that I probably burned the ISO file to fast and it didi not burn all of the necessary files to the disk or what, because it will not install a clean copy of it onto my system at all. and right now I cannot do the upgrae because I have already formatted my system and I currently have no operating system on it at all at the moment.

  103. Comment by Hail2King — October 11, 2009 @ 10:30 am

@Michael, I know for me when it started expanding the windows files it took awhile, like 2 hours to finish. I’m not sure how you burned the disc perhaps you should try and burn it a little slower just to ensure a quality burn. Also the type of dvd your using might be a crappy kind so it has a high fail rate, not sure what to tell you except revert your os back and retry burning to another disc at a slower write speed. Hopefully that’ll help.

Does it turn black and stay black because of the 7loader, or because of the Windows 7?

Good news is that October 22nd is when the real thing will be here, so you can re-try.

Simple, you get the OEM ultimate which is already cracked. See links below:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TRH6M4CQ
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0DR0SMTQ
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DO7PKYUR
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=81GUSUZG

    You need all 4 parts.

  114. Comment by Clayman — October 24, 2009 @ 1:53 am

@Versatile, OK got all that dloaded, but need some clarification. The instructions tell me to format the hdd w7 is installed in. Does that mean I will be losing my own personal files in that drive if I do this? Also, will this permanently leave me with an activation? Since Thursday, Windows is being really persistent about my invalid key. Thanks in advance.

  115. Comment by Versatile — October 24, 2009 @ 10:42 am

Two ways to go about this:

    1) Install fresh with a clean format ( I always do this. My backup scenario lets me do this)
    or
    2) You install over your existing Windows 7 if you are unwilling to format. Afterwards, you will be activated as the megaupload links provided is for an OEM version.

  116. Comment by phil — October 24, 2009 @ 10:23 pm

    Hello,

I did a fresh install from the OEM version you posted on the 22nd and when I got the command window that is supposed to say it installed the product key I got an error. It now says it has 30 days to activate. Do you have any suggestions for that? Or, should I just try to do the install again.
    Thanks

  117. Comment by Versatile — October 25, 2009 @ 1:44 pm

During the install process, make sure to not check the active this product online and skip that option. This is what I did. I did not know the crack does not work for all machines?

  118. Comment by SoniC — October 26, 2009 @ 4:10 am

Do I HAVE to burn the ISO to a disk or can I just use softwares such as Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%?

It worked!! I installed it on my Virtual Machine and followed carefully the instructions provided. I can’t wait to try it to my physical computer. Thank you Versatile.

  120. Comment by Versatile — October 26, 2009 @ 5:43 pm

Yes you must burn it to disk.

  121. Comment by KaBooSh — October 27, 2009 @ 1:48 pm

When I have put the disk in, it asks me if I want to get online updates for the installation. Is it safe to download them? Won’t I get caught?

  122. Comment by Lawlasaurus — October 27, 2009 @ 5:17 pm

I’ve installed 7loader but it still says 30 days for activation. I just become confused when i read other peoples problem/solution. I’ve followed what it says at the top but nothing is going to plan. What am i doing wrong?

Also, am i meant to use the disk when it reboots and press any key when it says so or do i just put it in when i am on my desktop?

  123. Comment by Versatile — October 27, 2009 @ 8:19 pm

Doubt it. If you are using a beta version or retail, it is a legitimate download to patch your OS.

  124. Comment by Versatile — October 27, 2009 @ 8:20 pm

The article will need to be updated! There is a new crack coming out. If you want to bite the bullet, get the OEM version per the links in the comments. It is what I use and its activated.

  125. Comment by Lolasaurus — October 28, 2009 @ 3:31 am

@Versatile, so what do I exactlydo when i have downloaded all 4 of those .rar parts?

  126. Comment by ICHI — October 28, 2009 @ 8:29 am

    @Lolasaurus
If you finished downloading the 4 .rar parts, extract it using Winrar or any other extracting tools. When it finished you should get the folder named “faXcooL.W7.Ultimate.x86-x64-ACTiVATED” inside this folder are the Windows 7.iso file and the instructions on how to install the OS. There is also a readme file to completely instructs you. Just read it and follow carefully the instructions just what I did. It worked on my virtual machine 100%. Have a good day!

  127. Comment by Lolasaurus — October 28, 2009 @ 8:32 am

i just downloaded all 4 files but when part 1 and 3 are not exactly 999mb as it says on megaupload. Would i have to download it again? what do I exactly do when i have downloaded all 4 of those .rar parts?

When i opened and tried to extract i get these errors from Winrar :
! D:Downloadsbackupfax7.part1.rar: Unexpected end of archive
! D:Downloadsbackupfax7.part3.rar: Unexpected end of archive

  128. Comment by Lolasaurus — October 28, 2009 @ 9:39 am

The problem with getting a direct link for an ISO like this is cause the size is 3.2 gigs so without a premium account on an upload site it has to be split into volumes such as the megaupload links. @XGaSt, I would but dropbox has suspended my public links, and the ISO is way to large for any 1 direct download site without being broken into parts. I’ll try to fix it but basically my hands are tied at this point until dropbox allows my public links again. check back if not get the 4 parts from megaupload, it’s the same exact ISO. sry

Direct Link is now Working Everyone!!!! Don’t know for how long it’ll be available until they suspend it again but I suggest taking advantage of it now and grab it while you can.

  157. Comment by hail2king — November 9, 2009 @ 11:24 am

@hail2king, Now it’s suspended again, check back later for working Direct Download link. Dropbox tends to suspend my public links every few days or so, then lifts the suspension for a couple days. Use the 5 parts from megaupload for now, I know it’s a pain but if I uploaded to another site it would need to be many more parts then just 5. Sry for the inconvienence.

  158. Comment by Mocha — November 9, 2009 @ 1:13 pm

I have a 64bit Vista machine. Tried to do the upgrade and checked marked the 64 option instead of 86 option. Then the Compatibility Report came up and said:

    * You can’t upgrade 64-bit Windows to 32-bit version of Windows…
    * 32-bit Windows cannot be upgraded to 64-bit version of Windows…

I downloaded the 4 RAR files listed above. Thoughts?

  159. Comment by Versatile — November 9, 2009 @ 7:23 pm

Maybe this is just a 32bit version and not the x64 version?

  160. Comment by Mocha — November 9, 2009 @ 10:52 pm

I found a potential answer to the problem at: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproinstall/thread/45cb3246-dfd6-417f-a8e8-04a5043be286

    Here is a snippet:

“Now I am trying to upgrade to Windows 7 x64 using my MSDN DVD received in oct/nov month.” If people are trying to install 64-bit Windows 7 from the MSDN subscription disk then they potentially face problems, in particular circumstances. The MSDN/Technet subscription disk is a dual layer disk which contains both 32-bit and 64-bit installs, but only the 32-bit installer. It’ll work for installing 64-bit OS in some circumstances/scenarios, but not in others. If difficulty with installing 64-bit OS from that particular disk is being experienced, it would be better to use the Subscriber downloads section to instead download/use the actual 64-bit install ISO. If people are using an actual 64-bit install disk and experience “cannot be upgraded from this version” errors then it’ll be because the install is being launched from inside the existing 32-bit install. To install 64-bit Windows to a machine with a 32-bit Windows install in place, the system must be booted from the install disk and the installation launched from there.

How do I know if the setup.exe is for the 64bit or 32bit install?

  161. Comment by Mocha — November 9, 2009 @ 11:04 pm

I should also say that I mounted the ISO image via Daemontools and ran setup from there to Upgrade. I have not tried cutting the image to a DVD and boot from that. I didn’t think it was necessary since I am upgrading in place.

  162. Comment by Mocha — November 10, 2009 @ 2:37 am

I cut the image to a DVD and booted from it to try to install. While doing an Upgrade, it said to boot into the normal Windows and run setup from there. That didn’t work as stated above. My other option is to try backing up my files and installing Windows 7 as a new install.

  163. Comment by hail2king — November 10, 2009 @ 2:19 pm

@Mocha, Yeah when doing an upgrade from vista you need to run the disc inside windows, for a fresh install you need to boot from startup. the upgrade install is a little different than the fresh install, but the premise is the same. Just don’t allow windows to go online to install updates during the install and then the activation will work fine.

  164. Comment by Versatile — November 10, 2009 @ 7:48 pm

I hate to say this, but the best way to upgrade any windows is a FRESH install. Backup your files, wipe the partition clean, and then install. If you are clever, you can repartition your hard drive, put your files in the new partition, and then just wipe the OS partition and reinstall windows.

  165. Comment by SoniC — November 14, 2009 @ 4:21 pm

Err, my Windows is starting to say i need to activate it (Didn’t say this before). What should i do? And what is the difference between the 4 rar files from before and the 5 rar files now?

  167. Comment by Versatile — November 15, 2009 @ 1:48 pm

Not sure, I got the 4 RAR files OEM version. The 5 RAR file must be hail2king with the same rip ? I’d have to wait for him to answer.

My Windows 7 Ultimate today still says it is activated. If you need to get it activated, maybe check out the forums at win7vista.com

@Versatile, Yeah the 5 rar files is the same rip the original one was taken down so I upped it to megaupload but when I split the archives it only made em 700mb’s instead of 999mb’s so thats the reason it’s 5 parts , sry bout that.

@SoniC, If i re-install it, is it OK to run it from desktop? Instead of running it on startup, because i want to keep my files from the Windows 7 i’ve got right now.

Yes, although clean install always recommended. Get the OEM version. It does not require activation.

@Versatile, Weird, today i checked the system page, and now it says Windows is activated. What the heck? Should i re-install it anyway, because it might revert back to be not activated

@SoniC, I say just roll with it. If it deactivates itself, then reinstall.

so will part 5 ever be uploaded again? It was removed by MU

The author who had uploaded his copy is currently on vacation, and I don’t have the file to reupload.

What you guys can do is go to torrentz.com and get a copy of windows 7 there.

I may rip my OEM version and post it here too.

    Please try these links:

    http://katz.cd/download/4836300/App/Windows-7-Ultimate-Retail-32-64-Bit/

Go there, or you might be better off with torrents if you are sick of rapidshare.

Where did you get your copy from? Is it the OEM activated copy? My copy after install uses this bios crack. I never had to input a serial key.

The best way is to search torrentz.com or even katz.cd for links.
